As of the 2019 October AGM, the members of the MTC resolved to change the name. The societal name is now the Vancouver Island Men’s Therapy Centre Society.
The operating name of MTC will stay the same, however it will be the Men’s* Therapy Centre, instead of Men’s Trauma Centre.
The * has been added to include cis, gay, bi-sexual, transgender, non-binary, 2spirit, queer, gender fluid, and + people.
