Simon has made the move from Vancouver to Victoria in 2019 and is a graduate of Simon Fraser University’s Masters in Counselling Psychology program. Simon has experience counselling in both the community and university settings. He is a member in good standing with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) as a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). Simon is also a musician and enjoys the outdoors with his dog.
Simon is a client-centered therapist and believes that client’s are the expert of their own lives and their own greatest resource. Using mindfulness, self-compassion and an emotion-focussed approach, Simon helps clients practice tolerance of distressing emotions, gain feelings of safety and make authentic strategies to work on problems.

Simon’s aim is to help support you gain a greater sense of safety, self-awareness, self-compassion and agency in your life. He has worked successfully with individuals living with childhood-trauma, isolation, relationship conflict, grief, depression, anxiety, managing stress and anger management.
