My Background:
Simon has made the move from Vancouver to Victoria in 2019 and is a graduate of Simon Fraser University’s Masters in Counselling Psychology program. Simon has experience counselling in both the community and university settings. He is a member in good standing with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) as a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). Simon is also a musician and enjoys the outdoors with his dog.
My Approach:
Simon is a client-centered therapist and believes that client’s are the expert of their own lives and their own greatest resource. Using mindfulness, self-compassion and an emotion-focussed approach, Simon helps clients practice tolerance of distressing emotions, gain feelings of safety and make authentic strategies to work on problems.

Sessions are a time and place where you are supported to focus on what matters to you most and the changes you would like to make in your life. Simon’s aim is to help support you gain a greater sense of safety, self-awareness, self-compassion and agency in your life. He has worked successfully with individuals living with childhood-trauma, isolation, relationship conflict, grief, depression, anxiety, managing stress and anger management.
