My Background:
CCPA registered. I have worked as a Clinical Counsellor since 2004 and Clinical Supervisor since 2011 after graduating from The University of Nottingham and University of Bath respectively. My work has mostly been in the UK, Hamilton and Victoria. I have specialised in Trauma and Addictions work, having begun my counselling practice in colleges and universities.
I have a background in Gestalt Therapy and integrate different therapeutic methods to meet the specific needs of the client, using a Person Centered approach to provide relational depth. My aim is to develop a healthy working relationship with clients so they can develop a better understanding of self.
I am registered with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) and was previously registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
